WELCOME TO TORVA
Breeding / Birthing:
There is no end to how cold it is getting, and there is only more winter to come! With the cold season comes extremes of ice and snow that can be painfully sharp on the paws in the north, even for the thickest pelts. Snow has been spotted in even the southern region's woodland cliffs and marshes.

|About Max |
| Okie! 'Ello there! The name's Max! (That's my nickname at least). I'm a teenage female living on the East Coast of the United States with her parents, irritating little brother, two dogs, and spazztastic and wildly entertaining tortoiseshell kitty named Cookie. |
I love to read, write, draw, and animate, as well as roleplay! I enjoy roleplaying anything along the lines of canines, felines, fantasy creatures, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Warriors, Avatar The Last Airbender, pokemon, etc... I like to play Sims 3 for the PC, Spore, World of Warcraft, Harvest Moon, and Pokemon (Yes! I'm a nerd x3) I own a 3DS system which I have a few games for, but I can be seen playing Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town on the GameBoy Advance... (See! I told you I was a nerd! xD)
So yeah, I might add more... but I don't want to bore you out of your mind. x3
|Gambit Spitfire's basics
||Gambit Spitfire in-depth
Name. Gambit Spitfire
Age. 2 years and nine months
Species. Canadian/Rocky Mountain Wolf
Physique. Lithe, sleek, medium sized
White as the falling snow by day, a mere ghost from the shadows at night. Gambit's pelt is mainly white, with gray ticked fur. However, the gray is hardly visible in broad sunlight. But at night, when it reflects the white light of the moon, she appears silver almost, and due to this, may take on the illusion of a ghost if only glanced at. Though, she is not all white. Her back paws and most of her tail are black, along with this the very tips of her ears are the same color, like a calm pool of water on a moonless night. Her fur itself is somewhat shaggy, not smooth and silky, and no matter how much she tries to groom it, it won't lay smooth. She doesn't care about this though. Gambit thinks it looks better this way, maybe more mysterious and imperfect. It somewhat suits her personality. The she-wolf bares eyes of ice blue that perfectly counter her mostly snow-white coat. They are usually the first thing a wolf notices about her. So bright against the subtle colors. They often reflect light in such a way that looks like they are dancing, and even in the dark of night, they glow with an emotion like joy, reflecting the wolf inside.
Clever, smart, charming, yet imperfect, and most of all... manipulative. Gambit possesses all of these, and possibly more. She's wise and clever, often thinking outside the box. She likes to think of things differently that most, and her thoughts and ideas usually stand out from the rest. Problem solving is "her thing", and she often enjoys nothing more than sitting around lost in her own thoughts and imagination.
Charming as well, she does her best to be "ladylike" and formal around more dominate positions, but isn't afraid to be herself. She has a personality that is hard not to love. She's funny, wise-cracking, and has a wide variety of a sense of humor, whether its dark, sarcastic, or straight-forward. She likes to make jokes, and is good at cheering others up. When around close friends who don't care what she does, she may act more like a tomboy, which some males may find unattractive, but she states she "has more important things to worry about than boys", which is true in reality. Gambit doesn't expect a mate, at least not any time soon, and whether or not she achieved one, she wouldn't care. She could die happy either way.
And manipulative? Oh yes, very much so. She's good at getting inside the heads of others and make them believe what she wants... most of the time. She's good at putting on a mask and making someone believe she's someone who she's not, an expert spy, and she can stab you in the back before you know what's happening, quite literally, too, if only she had a knife. She's often wary, though, and may tend to be suspicious of much.
But she's a good fighter. However, here's where imperfection winds its way into her being. She's a bit headstrong and determined at times. Often, she will take on a target too big for her handle, and bites off more than she can chew A LOT. Emphasize on "A LOT". And when she get's herself into a pickle, Gambit often won't accept help from others. She will struggle and connive until she crumples to the ground in a possible near death state. That is, if she fails to bring her enemy down. She's good a reading weak points in another wolf, and goes straight for it. If she's successful, then she can avoid the "near death experience" part, which is quite fine with her.
As a lone wolf, Shira wanted to find the safest place to give birth to her pups. All alone, yes. After her mate Haiki was killed by a rogue wolf, she was all on her own. No one to protect her, no one to hunt for her. The mother had no idea how she would make it and keep her pups alive. But finally, she found a seemingly safe den, set underground, concealed by a fallen tree. It seemed perfect for bringing up a litter of healthy pups. Good thing too; not long after did she give birth to three pups, two males and a female, all strong and destined to be great. Their names: Haiku, Kimba... and Gambit. Thus began her story.
But a few weeks later, Shira and Haiku lost their lives to a strange and sudden illness, leaving Kimba and Gambit alone to fend for themselves. They left immediately, and did their best to make it on their own. Though teaching themselves to hunt and fight proved to be a diffcult task. The two had no idea what they were doing, and it took them more than a week just to be able to catch a squirrel. They made it by mostly by eating berries and already dead food, which they both hated, but wouldn't have been able to live without. Thus, the two made it to their first year. But shortly after, a devastating fire broke through the forest, and the two were each on a solo hunting trip. They tried to return to their base camp, but discovered they were on seperate sides of the inferno, and Gambit never saw her beloved brother again. Infact, she almost didn't make it, but she was found by someone from Alyxio, and they brought her back, nursed her to full health, and tested her, and she proved to be pack worthy, surprisingly, since she had never lived in a group larger than two for wolves for more than two months. Thus, this story ends where Gambit's role true role in Alyxio begins, and, like an uncontrollable wildfire in the forest, will lay down its own path, and no one can control its actions.
