Name. Nahrus Exultare
Age. 4 years
Gender. Female
Species. Eurasian
Physique. Large, sound Build
Appearance.
The autumn has its twin in lupine form. When one looks upon the face of this female, they see not only the captivating hues of autumn and gold, but of her mirror image; X'yrin.
Captivating hide immersed in autumn leaves and golden flecks. Her belly gently touched by creme and delicately swollen with recent birthing. Even her chest bares the same V marking, descending between her forelimbs with its ends rounding the front of her shoulders. Her build is much the same as her sister's; sound and heavy, but with feminine grace accented by the delicate curve about her hip and loin. Her legs are long, and graceful. A dancer's stride upon confident limbs crafted to not only to carry her bulk, but make her dance through fields.
Taking the same form as her sister, down to the subtle pointed maw and strong brow shadowing vivid amber eyes, their similarities end at the withers. She stands at a slightly smaller 35" and bares a pale ridge along her back. Such a subtle difference that it could only be seen under full light.
Personality.
What is there but family and pride? She lives by the motto of the Exultare, forsaking all else for the sake of her family and their honor. Though she shares the same value as her sibling, Nahrus is more inclined to force a strong paw into the faces of those that thwart the rites and honor of their family.
Never sheltered or ignored, she took part in the daily tasks and training set in place by both mother and sire along side her siblings. Encouraged to cooperate and form necessary bonds to achieve a goal, she is more willing to worth with others so long as it's for the good of the cause. Because of this thinking, she also stands to take the steadfast ground, her objects unwavering once set in place. She personifies the stubborn spirit unless given reason to either change or back down from her stance.
Like the Exultare women, she is fond of children for they are the generation to continue the legacy of their bearers. Males are the seed needed to produce the life to carry this legacy, and she views them as such. Love is a foreign concept but breeding is a necessity.
Nahrus tends to take the more aggressive route in various situations save for the ones that involve children and the elderly. Her peers are to be treated as such, meaning if they show insubordination to a superior or if they themselves are the superior acting unfit for their rank, she will be quick to correct that wrong despite her own standing. Like the Exultare, she was raised to be a Beta and will not so willingly part with her prideful standing.
Biography.
The beginnings of Nahrus's childhood were much like X'yrin's. They played together, learned the values of their roles and trained to become what their bearers had been. She was never truly in the shadow of her sister, but as often looked as second in the eyes of the pack. Never once did she exhibit jealously or envy. It was simply the way of the pack and family. Should her sister die, she would take the role of Beta and continue to be the right paw of the Alpha.
But it was not by death she took the Betan throne. Because of her sister's inability to bare an heir, as second, Nahrus was called to answer the role in X'yrin's stead. She was fearful that there was a curse upon the Exultare females and that she would not be able to have the children to maintain her rank. She was joined with a regal male from a neighboring pack as a show of goodwill between them and was blessed with two healthy cubs. It was unfortunate for her sister, but the rite of the Exultare had been solidified. Nahrus witnessed the outcast of her sister until the women inevitably left them completely.
Sadly it would not be the only misfortune witnessed. Not a year after X'yrin was ostracized, her second mate, Skeith, assumed the role of Alpha by forcing himself on the current Alphess and killing her mate in the night. There was outrage within the pack, but none stepped forward to challenge him. Through generations of breeding to follow certain roles, none knew how to assume the role of Alpha or how to lead. They left Skeith to his tyranny, some barely escaping with their lives once he caught wind of their plot to flee.
Eventually he merged his familiar pack with their's expanding their territory beyond the tundra and into the northern mountains. The intrusion onto claimed lands encouraged countless fights with once peaceful neighboring packs, effectively throwing long-held treaties to the wind.
Unable to suffer the tragedy befalling her pack any longer, Nahrus fleed from her home, no longer wishing to side as the Beta of a mad-man. Her children stolen by her mate, she fled with nothing but terror in her eyes and longing in her heart.
