Surprised at the gold cat, she snarled at him for biting the stranger's leg when he should be very well know that he's practically surrounded by wolves. The pale stranger may have tried to ambush her, but she was immediately forgiven after hearing her plea for help. With her so called "common sense", the wounded lady who lay herself on the ground was obviously under the symptoms of the spreading virus. "The stranger caught the virus too, how f*cked up is that?", Risa spoke quietly. She looked at the pale female, she was light of color with a cross laid on her back and green eyes to showcase. She was no longer angry at the female, but she still needed to be cautious because of the virus. Her oldest brother, Alan, has always told her to put yourself in other's shoes to better understand their situation they're in. He was one of the people who helped her regain enough patience to control herself. He was a wise male, to what Risa could remember at least. It's been a long time since she has seen her brother, in fact... The female stranger looks quite a bit like him cause of her white pelt. She missed her brothers, Alan and her younger brothers so much. Strange, she usually don't miss anyone at all actually. "Sigh, I guess it's hard letting go people you love the longest", she quietly moaned to herself. After another sighing, she lifted her head up. Having blank expressions adorn in her face, she didn't want others to know of her tragedy. She looked upon at the white she-wolf again and noticed something that should have been expected. Black shades painting itself slowly upon her hind legs. Risa was clueless to the symptoms, but she knew they'll have a knack for biting and form a new pelt color very slowly. It was obvious to herself. A root was thrown before her. Risa looked at the thrower and saw Caprina without the root. She was shuddering without the it because of her infection.
That cheap comeback that the gold feline said got Risa to immediately growl with anger at him. Shooting a gruesome Battlecry that was like the roar of a lion, "if you're just here to mock us, I'd rather you ran away with your sorry pathetic life!", she boomed at him. It wasn't like she truly hated cats, but they tend to be afraid of wolves that mostly the only one brave to face one is often the mocking kinds. Thus gives her less patience for their kind. Not to mention the elks and being almost ambushed by another she-wolf all of the sudden. This wasn't good, she may not have enough patience to tolerate this feline. She'd kill it by one swipe if she had to, like she did last time she was totally pissed off. Being very impatience wouldn't be very sufficient For this situation anyway.
A plant was felt as it fell upon Risa's berry stained paws. This plant was the horsetail that the autumn female meant by, and that same she-wolf instructed her use it now for her wounds. "So this is the horse's tail you meant moments ago? Thought you meant the real tail of a horse", she replied to her shyly. Risa felt herself annoyed at the female, not because she was being told what to do; But because she was yelled at harshly that made her felt a wave of annoyance coming her way. Showing upset expression, she followed her instructions nonetheless. She figured she won't be yelled at again if she started to cooperate right, "I swear that if she yells at me again, it's gonna get ugly", she thought as she complained in her thoughts. The herb stung a bit on her wounds, but she ignored them like she would to most of her wounds before. Risa rests herself down in great exhaustion, but then her ears twitched towards the scream of the cream female. She raised her head in caution looking at her, "What's wrong?", she asked. Suddenly the cream girl darted towards the pale female. "Nonononono! stop!", she yelled. She tried to stand up and stop her, but to her exhaustion she was defenseless! "As if we have enough trouble already", she thought to herself.

At first, he found the situation rather irksome. These mutts were ignoring him! How dare they... If only he could find a cure, just to- Oh! That was an idea. Abiola pondered it for a few more moments, glaring down at the mutts below. Surprisingly, though, one of them called to him.
"Yes, I know what's going on." He replied with a purr and a flick of his thick tail. "You're all going crazy."
Of course, so was he, and he wasn't too happy with it. But he wouldn't let them know about that. No, they didn't need to know. He could be the only sane thing here, in there minds. Even the squirrels had gone nuts, or so he remembered with a painful twinge of his pelt.
There was a pause as Risa roared at him. After a moment, he blinked his amber eyes lazily and turned to view her, tail flicking casually, fur entirely unruffled. Her voice was big, but her fangs were too short. This was almost laughable, but he somehow found it more painful.
"As you wish." He said, rising gracefully from his seat upon the branch. "I'll just leave you all to destroy yourselves. Good luck defending yourselves from your past friends."
Though his words were cold, they had a point to them. It would be up to the mutts to figure it out. Not that he was actually leaving. He was infected as well, though the symptoms obviously weren't appearing with the same speed. Abiola needed to get a cure of some sort, and he had a few ideas where to start. Standing around, stuttering, and trying to kill members of the canine family would not help him. It wasn't even honest to his pact, to be fair. Not that he enjoyed the presence of canines. They were smelly, and idiots, and most of them were even taller than him, which was possibly the most irksome thing involved. Still, they all needed something...

Caprina rolled her eyes at the cat's obvious response. She spit out her roots in annoyance. "Well aren't ye the genius talkin' furball!" sh growled sarcastically. She really couldn't stand cats, but she supposed that was a wolf thing. She smiled as the black and wolf applied the herbs. "Thank ye. I'm sorry for my for bein' so strict on ye, but we can't afford many inj'ries. Not now o' all times. We 'ave to keep one 'nother alive, if we're to survive this." And just when Caprina was talking about staying alive and helping everyone out, she saw the cream wolf dart at the pale wolf. "No! Stop! Ye can't do that! We're tryin' to work together!" Of course, Caprina wasn't exactly completely sane herself. She wanted to find something to dig her teeth into and suck on. She wanted blood so bad. And that's partially what drove her to attack. the cream wolf. Caprina saw the black and white try to shove the pale wolf out of the way. At the same time, Caprina leapt at the cream wolf aiming to knock her down, but the blood in the cream wolf's throat was too tempting and she went for the neck.

Zitori had just started to crunch down on the roots when the Cream woman launched herself at her. She yelped in surprise and the Autumn wolf also leapt at her, or so it seemed, then she realised that the Autumn lady was going for the cream woman. This was getting very ugly very fast, and it was only going to get worse.
She was about to stagger to her feet and try to stop the fighting when suddenly her world went dark. She started to panic, she couldn't see and all she could hear were the growls of the others and the Black and White girl yelling at the cat. Her vision cleared just as the cat started to stalk off, "Probably looking for someone else to torture." she thought bitterly.
The need for blood seemed to have lessoned with the help of the roots, she still wanted to taste it, but she could control the urge to rip the others to shreds to get it. She had a spark of an idea and pulled herself up to carry it out. Somehow she had managed to advoid the fangs on the cream woman.
She head the words of another unknown player, she glanced over and saw a dark male, a black male and she wished for a moment that she was blind again, but, it wasn't the flame eyed demon, and he didn't have bloody pups trailling in his wake. "Blood, they need blood." she yelped desperatly at him, "Can you kill us a rabbit or something, I think any blood will help." she crammed the roots back into her mouth, chewing hard, her gums still hurt when she stopped chewing. Her sight went black again and she crainged down to the ground, afraid to move.
"Wolf howls."
"Wolf thinks."

The target change did not matter to Dimitri's diseased mind, but her words seemed to shoot through. Barely. The autumn wolf jumped at the girl, knocking her to her side, where she tried to roll to free herself from the she-wolf's attack. Teeth brushed her throat, barely cutting into the skin. She growled at the sharp pain that barely drew blood. The cream youth pulled herself to her feet and shook out her pelt, then snatched up the roots to chew on, screwing her eyes tightly to regain control, only looking up to watch the Autumn wolf in case she attacked again. Then the scent of blood was overpowering.
Dimitri looked at the black wolf as her carried the rabbits into the clearing they sat in. She didn't care what he'd come her for, and his question made her realize she had missed something. "A cure" She answered his question as she ripped a leg off of one of the rabbits, just to chew on for the salty, fresh blood. The girl backed up quickly to allow the others access. She picked up the idea that this would seem strange to the two unaffected wolves. "It's a craving, we feel like we need blood." She explained. "And pain in our gums makes us need to bite." She explained quickly.

It didn't take him long to find something he thought might be helpful. Of course, he got first dibs, chewing the sweet berries and swallowing them. With the virus, Juniper berries were no longer tasteful, but bitter and almost unpalatable. But he bore it, on the off-chance that the virus was some kind of poison. Then he ripped a branch off the bush, with some trouble, and continued walking about the place.
Abiola noticed that the hallucinations had faded after a while. Another couple of love-struck bluebirds, perched on his tail, were the last things he had seen, and it felt a very long time ago. In fact, the delusions ended near the time he had his first blind spell.
Everything went dark again. Speak of the devil. Abiola took his last step and crouched on the ground, ears perked for any threatening sound, senses on alert. He was ready for something to go wrong. At the same time, he could feel his thoughts shifting and twisting uncomfortably, almost as if they were taffy. When the lights turned on again, he began wondering at the time.
'How long has it been since I started looking for some help?' He wondered to himself. 'A year, perhaps? Stupid mutts are probably already dead.'
The time warp didn't seem strange to him at all. It made perfect sense. Though he didn't believe the mutts were dead, he was eager to see what they had done to each other. If they were all still alive, it was probably barely.
Thyme! That made sense. They'd need it to calm down. Hell, he needed it to calm down. He stuffed his nose in it and wondered if some catnip would do him any wonders. Probably. Not. just bring back the illusions.
He ripped off some more of that and proceeded to make his way back to the mutts. As he got closer, he worked his ways into the trees again. Despite despising them, he certainly didn't trust them. For all he knew, the virus had gotten to them, and he was next on the menu.

Cadmon arched an eyebrow at the wolf's explanation of their disease. She seemed half mad with the unknown virus. He couldn't believe what she was telling him. These wolves her just after anyone to get blood. "So what, all of you guys are turning into giant bats or something?" he said sarcastically. He stepped away from all of them. But whatever was happening to these wolf, Cadmon knew he would have to help them if he was to survive. Maybe a herb would work. Cadmon knew willow bark and black willow leaves helped with pain. That could help them with their teeth, but there was not willow to be found on the beach. He had started to notice black patches on the infect creatures as well. Should he get some alo vera to stop that. But he was only treating the symptoms. He needed to treat the causes. Tansy was used to get worms out of a wolf. Was this disease like worms? If it wasn't Tansy could cause problems.
He forced himself to calm down and think through the situation with ease. Right now he knew they were irrationally violent. He also knew that their teeth hurt. The root seemed to be helping, but maybe there was something better. "For now drink the rabbit and keep chewing the roots. You," he looked to the black and white wolf, "Get some alder. We'll try that for their teeth."
That would help with their violent nature, but Cadmon felt like he was forgetting one key herb that could really help them. Then he remembered how Trocaire had helped that one wolf who had gone insane. Remembering her was so painful for him, but he fought through it and tried to remember what herb she used. He had asked, and she had answered something... "Thyme!" he said with sudden realization. "Stay here and try not to kill each other. I'll go find some Thyme. That should calm you guys down." But then Cadmon looked up and saw the cat drop down some Thyme. He couldn't the amount. It wouldn't be enough to sustain them. "Yeah that's great for one day, but go and grab some more. Get some kava too if you can find it. That also helps." He thought for a moment. Maybe if he could combien tansy and juniper berries or something, it could help. "See if you can find any other useful herbs on the way that could help." He had a feeling the cat knew his way with plants. He would probably know what to do.
"As for me, well I might as well stay and make sure you guys don't tear each other to pieces." "Crankycrankycranky."

Caprina felt the cream wolf wrestle out of the grasp of her jaws. She snarled in rage. Her savage nature was starting to take hold of her more and more. She felt the bits of her old self trying to climb to the surface, but the virus had too strong a hold over her mind. She was zeroing in to attack the cream wolf again, when a fresher smell of blood fill her nose. She turned suddenly, and noticed the two rabbits at the feet of the black wolf who was here a few moments ago. She lunged at the first rabbit and sand her teeth into it greedily, as she sucked on the rabbit's blood.
When she finished, instead of feeling better, she felt worse. She wanted more blood. The rabbit wasn't enough. She need to have more that the rabbit. Some part of her was screaming to stop, but Caprina couldn't. She quickly consumed the next rabbit and zeroed in on another wolf. Her eyes fell on the black wolf. She snarled like a predator. Her tail stuck out straight as she prepared to attack. She lept up and aimed for the black wolf's throat. But as soon as she did, a dark shadow fell over her eyes. She howled and fell to the ground. Fear seized her as the blindness took over. It was longer this time and she didn't see any end to it.

His fur fluffed as the dark mutt dared ordered him around. Who did he think he was? A lacky?
"What was that, Mutt? You're lucky I brought that much for you and this little gang of misfits. Not that they'll actually last long enough to use all of that Thyme. Give it another couple of days, and I'll tear you apart, myself!"
Sun forbid his daughter came here and saw him like this. He didn't know which thought was worse. His daughter catching this virus, seeing him helping wolves, or seeing him being torn apart by the sickness. It was degrading! As a king, he hated it. It stung his pride more than the black marks that were making themselves known on his back legs and spine.
"That's right, sit there and do nothing. While you're lounging, perhaps you could find a name for this damn thing- something more intelligent than 'The Virus' should do, if you can manage it." he spat contemptuously before rising and leaving, jumping from one branch to another quickly.
No one could guess whether he was going to come back to the mutts, not even him. He surely didn't want to. Abiola was not the type to take orders kindly. It was what made him such a great leader among his people. But he still had to do something, whether it was only for himself or he spread around the relief. His gums were killing him, and the only blood he had gotten was from a nip at a small mutt. He needed something else.
One rabbit later, his face was full of Thyme, and his mind was clear for the moment. He dropped the bouquet near the mutts as he leaped over them, though he didn't so much as glance at them as he moved by without a word. They weren't worth his attention.

Cadmon's eyes widened as the autumn wolf lept at him. What the hell! you have got to be kidding me! He tried to jump out of the way of the crazy she-wolf, but inside he knew that he was no fighter in anyway. He would fight to the death to defend himself, but he could not fight well at all. Finally in one split second of decision making, he turned to face the she-wolf, and prepared to take the brunt of her strikes.
But all of a sudden the wolf went off balance and missed him. She began howling and thrashing violently. Her sounds were less vicious and became more like cries of terror. "What the hell is wrong with you people!" Cadmon said in disbelief. "You guys are insane! I thought you said the blood would help you idiots!" Then Cadmon remember the Thyme the cat brought back. He knew that when the autumn wolf came to, she would lunge at him again. He grabbed the thyme and tried to jam it into her mouth when he could. "Eat it you damn wolf!" "Crankycrankycranky."

That cat was gravely annoying, but at least he's gone. "Good riddance", she said. Risa wouldn't want that cat to be around if he's going to be a racist all the time. Besides, the tense was making her head ache again. She hated that, but fortunately she has calmed herself down now. Doing so as she decided to do what the autumn instructed her to do as she lied down, putting a chewed herb called a horse's tail on her wounds that stings a bit. She turned at the autumn wolf whom was saying something to her. She thanked Risa for her cooperation, and apologized for being strict on her. "You don't need to apologize, I'm just so used to so much pain without the help of herbs. But please, don't shout at me next time", she replied. This was true, she was a loner after all and she didn't know much herbs. Also, she's just sometimes lazy to even care for her own health. A fault highly recognized by familiars. Thus so why she said the autumn wolf didn't really have to apologize, being strict is sometimes needed. It was the shouting she hated though, she's used to the strictness. The apologizing did made her more calm though, that was a good thing.
but so much for relaxing when the cream one started screaming. Risa stood up and dropped the herb to see what's happening. The cream wolf was screaming and out of control, and then she started leaping at the pale one! Risa knew another symptom occurred, so with the help of instincts and reflexes she darted at the pale lady and shoved her out of aim. More unfortunate came when the autumn wolf aimed at the cream one's neck.
"No,no,no,no! What are you doing!?", she panicked. They were to work together, not killing each other! Before Risa could react to separate the two, she sniffed the smell of another wolf. She turned to face him, seeing the scars he bared at his face. He had more scars than she ever had. He yelled that they'll kill each other before the virus will. She would have chuckled at that remark if the situation wasn't so tensed. Speaking of tense, all this tension was making her head ache even more. Risa did not want it to come back again. She turned at the pale lady when she said that they needed blood. Risa didn't understood why, and just assumed it was the virus's symptoms. "I think you should, I'm too exhausted from these wounds to go hunting, and they know better about the symptoms of this disease than we do", she implied. It couldn't be more true. they all just look rather crazy in her eyes, she lost a lot of blood, and her head was aching. Although the black male said that the rabbits were all deranged, he still came back with two in his mouth. He put them down for the others to eat, just in time for Risa to hear her answer the black male's question of what's the plan. she explained their symptoms, "Why didn't you say so to me a while ago? I ain't infected like you three", she said. She wasn't being harsh, but seriously she could have tried to cook up a special remedy that her aunt taught her a long time ago for them. But now that her headache's unexpectedly coming back, she wouldn't have enough control and focus to do so. Her questions were being ignored, so she didn't even bother expecting an answer and just watch the cream wolf take a rabbit leg and chew on it. At least the rough housing was done, she was relieve by that.
After that, the black guy started making orders at the gold feline. She was totally amused at how annoyed that was, yet angry at him for actually spying on them at the same time. he said they should come up on a name of calling it 'the virus', she had to admit that she was wondering about that as well. "What about the 'aeris disease'? it means 'air' since the virus is spreading like the air", she added to the conversation.
Things seemed to be calming down, sadly 'til the autumn wolf ate both of the rabbits. She was in her defensive position against her since she was going to pounce at the black wolf. Fortunately yet unfortunately at the same time, the wolf under the shade of autumn howled and fell to the ground. "What the crap!?", she was confused once more, "there must be wrong with the blood!". she saw the black guy got frustrated and tuck thyme inside autumn lady's mouth, forcing her to eat it. "This is really out of hand—", suddenly.. she felt pain. Great, massive pain was booming inside Risa's head. Risa could not believe it came back so soon. Yes, 'came back', the headache first occurred when she was bitten by those elks. from so much tense, it must have made her head ache again. Risa didn't move, they had enough problems to worry about now and she didn't want them to know. It was horribly unbearable though, but Risa was used to pain so she was able tease it for just a little longer. She walk ever so slowly away from the other wolves as she surrendered to sleep beside a tree. She tried to sleep it off, she didn't wanna be disturbed. Right now she's trying to rest. This headache would have surely made her wanna attack, just absolutely anything to get rid of it!

Caprina felt a paw shove a bunch of grass into her mouth. She howled louder still, trying to get free of the unknown paw, but eventually she was forced to eat the grass in her mouth. She began to chew the grass. She hated the tasted of it, but she knew she needed to swallow to get more air into her lungs. Finally after swallowing the grass and getting her eyesight back. Caprina felt more at ease. She could feel more of herself come back to like. Though the need for blood was nearly overwhelming, her body felt too tired to pursue it and her mind rejected the need to combat the virus. She looked up at the black wolf. his pelt gave her the vague idea of night. His black pelt was the sky while the bits of white reminded her of clouds and the moon. She smiled, half in a daze. "Ye were made from the sky."
She shook her head, trying to bring back some conscious thought through the haziness the thyme brought on. Apparently she ate a lot of it. But soon her mind started making connections. "We 'ave to be careful 'bout the blood. 'Partenly it... en'ances the effects. We can't... drink that much." Caprina groaned as she thought of the two rabbits she drank. She could feel the virus growing. Her teeth ached more and the black patch on her skin felt more painful. "I wish I didn't take that blood. It's just makin' things worse."

Cadmon started panting as the autumn wolf finally swallowed the last bits of thyme. He sighed in relief when he saw her form relax and most of the savageness leave her eyes. She was infected, there was no doubt about that, but she seemed more amiable after the thyme. Though he thought she was a bit delusional when she said he was made from the sky. Maybe this disease was worse that he thought. He felt a headache coming on to him. Damn, it must be from biting the rabbit.I hope I'm not catching this thing.
He looked at the cat and the black and white wolf. "How about we call this thing Idiot's Bane!" he growled. Of course his sharp remark was a bit harsh, but he was not in a good mood right now. He needed to save a bunch of wolves he wanted nothing to do with. Why did he even bother? But he knew why. He was stuck here with these wolves. He would probably have a worse time dealing with the other wild and infected animals if he left. No, this was his best bet. And he would have to heal them all.
He knew that he needed to get some more herbs. He watched the cat chew on the Thyme. He seemed in enough control of himself to babysit. "You, take care of them. Make sure they don't kill themselves. I'll be right back." Of course he could hardly see how a cat could stop them, but right now he just needed to get herbs, and the cat didn't seem to want to follow any of his instructions.
As he trotted away, he thought over what he needed for a moment. The autumn wolf had just swallowed a bunch of blood, and that seemed to enhance the virus. Maybe the virus was powered by the blood. If so, he would need to have the autumn wolf puke up the blood. That required yarrow. On the downside, she would also have to puke up the thyme, which seemed to be the only thing keeping her sane. Cadmon weighed the pros and cons. The she wolf would probably want more blood after. She would also require some form of sustenance. But he needed to take away the virus' fuel. He sighed and decided he would get some yarrow and give her the option. He'd also get more thyme to, and maybe berries for sustenance. "Ach!" he growled as the headache flared up. He'd probably get some lavender or some peppermint to help with the headaches. He had a long shopping trip ahead of him.
