I'm sorry this took so long. I should be much faster now! Set after the two alliance threads.

There are only 3 open slots for the raid/attack mentioned, but if a 4th really wants to go, I'd be okay with swapping them and Athena's place.

The trip to not one but two far territories had taken their toll. The general ache was surprising, the pulsing lull or hurt both a sort of high, and a sensation of feeling unwell. Athena didn't like this feeling of her bones constantly reminding her that she was no longer in her prime, but it couldn't be helped. But what really worried her was if it should continue to escalate, would her two personalities be falling through an infinite hole? Somehow the thought of what would happen if she got hurt in the plans she had in mind never occured to her. Nor the thought of needing to care more for her aging body.

Weary, she arrived at the most wide ledge, half way on the mountain. The rocks were rife with memories, each flake of snow a somber reminder of the past. What would she do when the memories were so prevalent that she couldn't tell the present from the future? When she lived a dream that she couldn't wake up from? But the present personality of fire and craze was unable to answer, much less worry.

Tilting her head, she made the call to Demetrius. Gut instinct told her that these wolves hadn't eaten enough, hadn't been busy enough to all stay, and that surely their numbers would be thinner. The plans had to work, they just had to.

Athena waited for some time, and then began speaking. "Wolves, followers of Demetrius, how have you fared? Are your bellies no longer emaciated? Are your wombs full with children? Did you investigate the Caves, was Renatio there? What news does the land bring? "

"As I have feared, a growing evil is upon is, as it always is in times of peace. There can be peace no longer, for the innocent cringe and cry, as prisoners, slaves, deemed worthless scum. We will attack those who dare follow the ways of Evil Renatio, we will free the innocent. Who will go with me?"

Who ever she met, she asked to be called Fireheart. Or Fire. But not many new her by *Osiris. She loathed the name, a name by her father. She snorted tiredly. Ploughing through thick layers of snow was hard. Especially since it was still falling. She spread her toes apart, trying to keep on the snow, not through it. Her tired legs wobbled and her neck leaned forward. Her head raised and her ears pricked as the cry of Demetrius sang through the air. Looking up and turning her head she tried to hone in were the song was originating. It seemed to waver as the wind picked up. Osiris,or Fireheart whichever you prefer, One of the omegas in Demetrius, recognised the voice as Athena. Cocking her head left she glanced at a ledge up the mountain. Spotting a dark shape with the neck and head tipped back, howling. A strong urge to howl back in reply lurched in he throat. But no doubt Athena would be confused bye her strange tongue. The tongue of the Outermost. Osiris/Fire was slowly getting the hang of speaking Torvan. Her tremendously claws twinged as she began to climb the rocks.. Her nose twitched for moister was in the air. Not meaning snow, for that was already falling. The moister in the air she smelt brought the awareness of a storm of **star-fire. Twilight was apon them, stars gently shining through he gaps in the clouds. A soft lilac to black sky loomed down. Black clouds revealing the moon. Osiris looked down. Her tracks stood out clearly in the snow. Mabey they won't notice my tracks? Bending her spine a little her back legs stretched for a sturdy rock. While her front legs lunged forward, her claws digging in. Her chest tightened and her lungs wheezed. Obviously she was no the best climber. Reaching a small ledge, her ankles bent, she leapt upwards to the ledge next to Athena. Her muscles ached with the effort she had wasted. ploughing through snow and climbing had reopened her shoulder wounds. She licked them and then turned to face Athena."To which task do you require the pack to gather Ma'am?" Fire asked absent mindedly. Her thoughts were longing to hear the tock-tock of a caribous tendons. Looking down she saw the glare of the light against fresh snow. The light rebounded in her amber eyes. Turning them a fiery orange. This not many notice. Quickly remembering her status she assumed a submissive posture to Athena. If she were still in the Outermost she would have been punished for not being submissive. But she decided she would forget that. Though being submissive, her dignity still remained and personally she couldn't care less.


*she goes by two names; Fireheart and Osiris. Osiris is her Outermost name. Osiris, in her culture means Fireheart.

**Star-Fire is what she calles thunder and lightning storms.

The memory of a private discussion with Solaris had been on her mind. Due to her mission, she couldn't make it to this meeting. But Athena's confidence in the talented woman remained strong. Solaris had done much, even exploring the Crimson Caves. But a question remained : what had she found? Had the descendants of Renatio awoken from their fire-wreathed thrones in Hell and resurrected their old bones to walk amongst the living in half-decayed immortal bodies crowned in flesh-eating insects?

Athena gave a nod to Fireheart indicating that an answer was on its way but still she waited. Athena's face was startled for a moment when the realization came that only one had showed up. Where were her wolves? She pursed her lips and gritted her teeth, daring to grind them for only a moment, as they were old and had begun to produce pain with any difficult movements.

"We attack the evil ones. We must not let our courage fail us. Mother Nature is on our side, she has intended all creatures great and small to be free, not prisoners of some foul beasts. Come, we attack.", she answered her loyal one.

Confident that Fireheart would follow, she rose and began her descent down the mountain.
