Year SixSeason: Winter Month: December Breeding / Birthing: Year Round There is no end to how cold it is getting, and there is only more winter to come! With the cold season comes extremes of ice and snow that can be painfully sharp on the paws in the north, even for the thickest pelts. Snow has been spotted in even the southern region's woodland cliffs and marshes.

The young blonde male were wandering the land in steady speed, taking his time. His leader, Athena had sent him on his first mission, a very important one at that. He felt proud to be given the task of trying to get an alliance with the Alyxio league. He didn't know anything about them though, he wondered what the leader was like. As well, he decided to act calm and serious, not as usual, when he would be playful and immature.
The Lemures Mountains was coming up and Zippo didn't like them all that much. Even if his pack lived on mountains, he liked open, flat areas much more then the steep mountains. He was built for speed and agility, it worked best on the flat lands, but he did well on mountain sides as well. As he came near, he lowered his head and sniffed the ground carefully, lowering his speed, wanting to not cross the borders. Soon they were found. Strong smell indeed, it made Zippo back of several feet. A month ago he found this smell, he would run away at once, but now he was in a pack and on a mission. He sat down, looking at the mountain for a moment. In the end he lifted his head to howl.
Greetings, Alyxio. I mean no harm, I am here in an errand for Demetrius. I do hope the leaders have a moment to spear.” It was a little short, maybe to short? Zippo felt nervous, telling everyone around he was there. If they were to be hostile he would just dash out of there and let them see some speed. He glanced back to be sure of his escape route, before turning to face the borders, not knowing who he would see. When someone were to come, he would rise up on his feet again.

Lady Winter, the damsel dressed in sleet and hail, danced throughout the land, leaving her footprints wherever she went. She was a beauty, graced with pristine white and a pure chill that was unmatched by any other. Fanul did enjoy the winter season, for it felt cool and it allowed him to train during his long treks to search for food. He was on his way down the mountainside, likely heading to the vast plains to hunt deer or moose, when a new voice reached his ears.
It was a wolf, the voice of his people, the melodious sound of a soul's call for attention. Fanul knew at once that it was his duty to respond, regardless of how wistful for adventure he might have felt. Over rock and stone, past tree and brush, his swift paws came to the border, kissing the ground with each lithe leap and bound. The stench of a stranger was here, though it was not entirely foreign. There was a familiarity about it, a friendly, affable scent -- it was what he had smelled when he had met with Athena.
"Stranger from a distant land," Fanul began, his ears swiveled forward in an attempt to catch all that this newcomer had to speak. "You called?" His voice was mellow but rich and full of tender life. He stopped a short distance away from the stranger, holding himself in a respectable position, though his posture did not demand obedience or niceties.
"Fanul howls."
