"Come," Fanul howled. He remembered Alyxio as a god his lost love once wove into stories, and so he thought the name fitting. "Come and share with me your talents and skills. Magicians and artists, champions and prodigies, philosophers and musicians! We will be the Alyxio League! And together, we shall be great." He meant what he said. He wished for the most apt, the craftiest, those who had a knack for expertise and finesse. He commanded them to a place where they could use their talents so he could form an exceptional society, a temple for warriors and spies, a haven for herbalists and wizards, a home for alchemists and assassins. Those of a darker nature were also welcome, for they had a different view on society and life. Fanul would find a place to use their talents, and they would flourish in the land that was given to them, encouraged to continue honing their skills and working in their studies. Innovation and variety were encouraged, and there would be no criticism for new ideas until they were acknowledged. Statistics Males:   4       Females:  7

Beyond the Leaders, their mates, and their Seconds, ranking is not of importance. Those who are deemed as Experts are equal, but their skills vary in trade. The list of possible tasks is unlimited, for the Alyxio League is always searching for new talents. Why, a wolf could even be deemed an expert in two categories!

Upon acceptance into the pack, a new wolf's skills will be evaluated. The time this takes to happen will vary. In fact, evaluation might not last any longer than several minutes, if a simple conversation suffices in classifying one's talents.

All members are expected to either hunt with the League or hunt for themselves because as Fanul says, "I won't have a hunter as a rank. What sort of wolf cannot hunt?" And so, hunting is not considered a skill apart from the others.

Alyxio League Talents
There are skill levels associated with the League. For each time a wolf performs a task associated with his/her talent, a point will be added to his/her skill level. Members are required to gain at least 1 skill level per talent per ic season. Furthermore, a skill level of 5 is required to procure another official talent, at which point a wolf would be required to maintain both talents. Any Alyxio member can have up to three talents.
• Rangers - The Rangers of the League are an elite force tasked to perfect the art of tracking and stealth, relying on speed and agility as opposed to brute strength (although, who says they can't have both?). Their service to the League includes patrolling the borders, marking them and scenting them, questioning strangers who come to this land and alerting the pack when there are hostile intruders. As a mercenary, they may be hired for finding lost wolves, assassinations or other jobs that make use of their talents. • Champions - Defenders of the League and warriors in their own right, the Champions owe their allegiance to Alyxio, but are free to sell their services as long as they do not sully their pack name or aid any enemies. They are strong and quick, and only the most talented of wolves are allowed the title of Champion, for that means that they have proven themselves in battle. They are encouraged to hone their skills on the mountains and spar with one another to improve. • Troubadours - With a focus on the arts, the Troubadours seek approval and applause. They are tellers of tales, weavers of songs, masters of dances and other forms of art. Troubadours perform whenever they feel they have perfected any one act, and the wolves of Alyxio and even allied and neutral packs are invited to enjoy the show. • Artisans - Although wolves are not normally builders, these Artisans are talented and imaginative enough to create things that their fellow League members can use. Their inventions are run by fellow members to gauge how useful any one item is and whether they would like this invention to be incorporated into everyday lives. These items can also be used to barter for other services. One thing is for sure -- the Artisans are extremely dexterous with their paws and teeth, far more so than other wolves. • Oracle - Oracles are those with the power to predict the fortunes of other wolves and the future of the world. What they are able to see and when they are able to see them may vary, but they have a talent that they are obviously born with. They are welcome to the Alyxio League if they are willing to share and practice their visions. • Sleuth - Only the most talented spies don't even act like spies. And so the Sleuths are skilled at befriending strangers, learning what makes them tick and figuring out their weaknesses. They have a fantastic memory and are usually clever, cunning and understand the art of subtlety. Furthermore, they are to be relatively in shape in the event that they might need to fight. These Sleuths are in service of Alyxio, and while they perform tasks for the League, they are permitted to work for others as long as they do not work against Alyxio. • Herbalist - The Herbalists are doctors and healers of the League, those who understand the way of the physical body, its functions and what ails it. They know much about plants and the earth, using what is available to them in order to heal their comrades; techniques such as mending bones and gashes are also a necessity. On the other hand, they are also familiar with poisons and drugs that might prove to be useful against the enemy. • ??? - If you believe you have a talent not listed here, discuss with a leader of the Alyxio League.
