Okay guys, I had a heart-to-heart with Aayaden and he's what we decided:

1. Torva isn't closing. Erde is still being planned and worked on, but when it opens, it will open as a new site, instead of a site that we move to. We do hope that you'd also come and play at Erde, but we've decided to leave that up to you, as your personal choice.

2. Torva gets a staff shuffle. I myself admit I haven't been the best admin lately because I haven't been actively playing - I've run a different site called Sun (affiliated). Aayaden has decided to leave staff. I'll be phasing out, but my priorities are to massage Torva into a better place.

I'll be orchestrating the shuffle - right now my current thoughts are that we'll need to pick up some more staff along the way. Do you think you'd be able to help out? There's no official call for staff this minute but it would be good for you to think about it.

3. Torva has a quality problem. Members have been chanting this to us for a very long time and it's not that we weren't listening - it's that we weren't sure what to do at that time. Some great news : we've gotten some help from advice from experts and we now know what to do. This may or may not include abolishing the word count. Whatever process we take, there's no such thing as an instantaneous and magical fix. You, the members, will also have to be actively involved in the process by helping to make quality posts and set the good example. It's a process with many aspects, some of which I haven't detailed here. Expect some great things.




In light of the changes, feel free to continue discussions of Erde and Torva.

Well, I have been thinking that heike's rant was over reacting, and I still not completely agree about the werewolves and furries things.

But I really do love dragons, just that this place was for realism and it was overdoing it to me. the werewolves thing, well it's just that they can tun into a human...

But that's all I don't exactly agree with, everything else is great.

But I'm not gonna change my decision. Risa Alika was made for realism roleplaying, so she'll roleplay somewhere else. She'll once she's finished venturing all of torva.
As for Rocket, he'll stay. I still like him to be in the alyxio or demetrius, whichever comes first. I'll just roleplay as something else for the time being, most likely a hellhound(or a wolf with a genetic disease).

I'll always play in Torva..err, Erde(Still getting used to using that), It's the first rp site I've been to. and I hope that everything else will go just fine, even with Aayden no longer an admin

Aayden and Heike let me just say one thing. Aayden is NOT idiotic for throwing around new ideas. I respectfully disagree with the werewolf and dragon thing but I am not against you. The general consensus seems to be that most agree with all the changes except the aforementioned werewolves and dragons. This is not to say they were bad ideas, just that we believe them not to be for this site. Now Heike I'm sure you meant no disrespect but please keep the discussion of ideas civil here. No idea is idiotic as not everyone has the same opinion on things. I believe it would be best if you apologized and explained your feelings in a more respectful manner. You are most great role players and I'm sad to see you go Aayden, but I also hate the prospect of you leaving on bad terms with anybody. I say this with the utmost respect to both of you.

I am sure Heike did not mean to imply that Aayden is an idiot/idiotic.

Torva is not going anywhere, it is not Erde, and it won't be. Of course, there are people who intend to carry their characters over there.. But Torva will still be up and running. It's up to us players to keep this place active and cool(cause we are cool).

I'll certainly miss Aayden. Azren was so much fun to annoy ;-;

I don't have a big issue with dragons and anthro animals (I don't think it'll be only werewolves. Fur Folk? Like Faire Folk. Haha.) but I have no idea what I'll do with Aurora once Erde comes up. She'll either stay, be in both roleplays, migrate to Erde, or I'll use a new character in Erde.

That's what I was trying to say before, not so much werewolves but Anthro's AKA Animals who walk on two legs and have humanistic characteristics. Oh well, I tried and that was all I could do is try.
