No, those wily cats are not planning on taking over the place... Yet.

Truth be told, wolves are a breed that are very close to each other in customs, formations, and such. However, cats? Not so much. Lions work in prides while most other cats are loners. They look vastly different from one another, and live in a wide variety of places for many different reasons. So here's my question: What's the cat's societal structure? I'm trying to figure out what jobs each species has. Here's where you come in.

Should lions be the leaders of all cats, with a particular male, in all his crowned glory, in charge? Or should there be separate alliances? What are their cultures like? Are Tigers like the Amazon warriors, with females dominating the system? Are Pumas the scouts of the mountains, with a small warrior society? What about lions? Leopards? Bobcats? Ocelots? Do they have an affinity for one species of cat, as opposed to another? Are albinos seen as outcasts, or leaders?

Throw me your ideas! This is but one step to a new storyline! ^_^

Oh, and one last thing. I really need to figure out what the Golden Cats do in this broken, or whole society you'll be helping me with. I'll give you any information necessary!

Well, the lions and tigers were actually dubbed equal cause it's like a 50/50 between them in a fight. So I thought maybe a tiger as the queen and the lion as the king.

All the tigers should be the king and queen's general. Cause each has their own territory, so maybe the tigers would guard each region maybe.

The Pumas should have a village in a valley, where the males are the mountain scouts by heart.

certain bobcats species are extremely rare, so they could be one of those ancient wise men or shamans to say.

the lions live in a group, so they could be the cat kingdom capital.

A Lion king and Tiger queen would be interesting. We could say it's been a long-time alliance decided generations ago, in order to unify the cat kingdoms. Would this 'Lion capitol' be based around them as well?

Hm... Tiger= general? I'm thinking maybe something more widespread. For instance, would Tigers be the leaders for all forces- war, front lines, and scouts? I'm thinking more generals who specify in certain attributes. A scout leader, for example, might be a Puma- or a Golden Cat, since they are smaller.

I like the idea of bobcats being considered as wisemen. Gives them a certain character. :)

If Lions are kings, it's silly to make tigers queens in my opinion.

I really hope Ligers or Tigons is not playable as they are suffering from being a mix of tiger and lion.

On other side I'm curious. What spieces of tiger is it that is 50/50 with lions, Risa? Theres just lions.. and then there is a whole range of tigers, I seen bengal tiger compared with lions and they are indeed 50/50.

I have it hard to see a siberian tiger lose 50% of the time to a lion as they are a lot bigger and stronger built. Siberian tiger were the top of the food chain world wide before humans began using weapons.

You are not number 1 on the food chain if you are equal to another spieces, then they would share the top.

I know I said I didn't like the idea of creature accounts but I might have to make me a siberian tiger... Hmm..

I just assumed that they're both equal because I always find videos of them fighting. It's always random of who wins.
It all depends on the age, aggressiveness, and size of the two.

and what do you mean by "they're just lion"?

@Heike: Heike, you're poking holes. T_T Now I don't know what to do about the lions and tigers. :P So you disapprove of the two being together? Should it be lions only, as the rulers? Tigers would then be a separate group?

If so, then there isn't just one species of lions. There used to be alot of subspecies of lions back then, but now there's only 3 species right now.

Yes, I would say Lion and Lioness is the highest rulers. I don't see a problem in lions and tigers working together, but lion king and tiger queen is silly as they are just the same family :P

Lions don't have subspeices like tigers have, there are white lions but it is a rare genetic fault in the normal lion this genetic fault is much more normal in tigers. Tigers got for example the most known tiger, the bengal tiger, the small sumatrian tiger and the biggest land living predator in the world, the siberian tiger. I think there are more subspeices of tiger, but they are very rare and the three I mentioned is the three I know.

A full grown siberian tiger is a lot more powerfull than any male lion :)

But since lions is the only one in the cat family that lives in packs, I find it natural that they would be the king and queen. Also they don't call the lion king for nothing, they are gorgous, proud animals :)

^_^ Ok! Since you two are being such great sports, I have two questions for you: First, should Tigers have a female-dominated culture? Like the Amazon culture? Second, on the topic of albinos, how should they be viewed? Outcasts? Leaders deemed by Fate? Or is it different depending on the culture?

All the other cats try and stay out of it because....well.....

I think it would be a good idea to have theem fighting among their own species so then you can have a bit of backstabbing Huh?

About the lion and tiger thing...A tiger would certainly win due to their weight advantage. Doesn't matter about subspecies (except I do believe there are three subspecies of lion: Asiastic lion; small/light. Western African lion; typical lion that you see on tv and such. Central African lion; similar to the western, but a bit more like Asiastic.) Just wished to clear that up. By the way, white lions and tigers aren't subspecies x3 It's a birth defect, similar to human albinism.

However, it actually would make more sense for a lion to be king. A tiger is a solitary creature, not hunting in prides or generally socializing/enjoying the company of other tigers. Meanwhile, lions are social animals, traveling in prides with a hierarchy similar to a kingdom.

I'm kind of fifty-fifty on the female dominant tiger culture, I kind of like it...But at the same time I don't. Mostly because it wouldn't be exactly realistic. Males have the tendency to be dominant, and in the animal kingdom they are superior in size and weight. But I like because it would be a pleasant twist x3 Hmmm...Albino tigers tend to be a bit more common, so I think they should be viewed as normal. However, albino lions and other creatures she be viewed as...A disease, if you will if they are of lower status. However, if they are of higher status in the kingdom, they should be viewed as royalty. Make it a bit twisted x3 If you are rich and have high breeding, you are amazing! If you don't...YOU SUCK.
